TOWNSHIP CONTINUES TO OFFER ADULT COMPUTER COURSES

As we face the ever-changing backdrop of the computer age, our first goal is to provide basic skills to those who have never used a computer. It is our hope that students will progress from Introduction to Computing to the Word Processing and Spreadsheet courses. We are in the process of developing other courses, and our Internet class is always a favorite with our students.

The Illinois State Board of Education has designated the Township Computer Program a “Preferred Provider”. High school and grammar school teachers will receive continuing education credits for completing our courses.

Resident students receive 16 hours of instruction at a low cost of $70.00 per course. Nonresident students will be charged $85.00 per course, subject to class size and availability. Twice weekly practice sessions are offered free to residents of the Township even if they are not currently enrolled in a class.
